West Palm Beach, FL – March 25, 2022 – Academy Medical Inc., announced today that the company received a new Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Electronic Catalog (ECAT) award (Contract No. SPE2DE-22-D-0015). The five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a period of performance from March 25, 2022-March 24, 2027.
DLA Troop Support’s Medical Supply Chain developed ECAT to streamline its business practices and expand its range of procurement options. ECAT is an internet solution that uses the latest technology for ordering, distribution, and payment, providing the Department of Defense and other Federal agencies access to multiple commercial catalogs of products from its manufacturer and distributor partners at discounted prices.
Effective today, the over 4,500 products added through this ECAT contract will provide government customers with greater access to premium medical and surgical supplies while benefitting from volume discount prices. Together with Academy Medical’s e-commerce platform, the ECAT system provides DLA Troop Support customers a streamlined procurement option to access products from the company’s supplier partners.

Academy Medical adds this new ECAT contract to its portfolio of government offerings which includes the federal open market, SAC Biologics, T18, Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) and DLA-DAPA.
